Welcome to the Pediatric Head and Neck Cancer Foundation: A Catalyst for Change in Childhood Cancer Care a pediatric head and neck cancer surgeon, radiation oncologist, pediatric plastic surgeon, and health care executive saw firsthand the lack of research support and inadequate medical guidelines for the treatment of children with head and neck cancers. These friends and colleagues decided to do something about it – to BE the catalyst for change. In 2024, they established the first organization dedicated to making these childhood cancers a thing of the past: the Pediatric Head and Neck Cancer Foundation.
